A small group Biblically based retreat taking place at the Enchanted Forest luxury log cabin resort in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The cabins are tucked away in the woods of the Ozark mountains north of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Each couple will have their own private log cabin with large Jacuzzi, large bathroom, kitchen, living area with satellite television, cd, dvd, a large covered deck/porch, plus more.

Many people ask us the question: "A romance retreat? That means it is about sex, right? Do we actually talk about sex at a Christian based marriage retreat ? Romance is sex, isn't it?"
(Hmmm...you will have to come to the retreat is get the answer to the last question.)
Answer: Yes, we do talk about sex in a comfortable, safe, and proper atmosphere. And guess what...God doesn't have a problem with us talking about sex in an appropriate manner. After all, He did create it and sees sex as holy when experienced within His guidelines. God is not hung up about sex and there is nothing in the Bible that suggests that He doesn't want a married couple to have a good time with great sex. God did say in Genesis 2:25 "The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame."
The problem is that we have allowed outside influences to bring shame into the marriage bed. We will discuss how to increase your sexual communication and develop a sex life that helps to build a strong marriage rather than frustrate each other through your sexual relationship.
However, it takes much more that a healthy sexual appetite to create satisfying sex in marriage. At this weekend retreat we will discuss many topics and learn many skills that will build healthy emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical closeness. Actually, good sex is just a by-product of having a healthy marriage relationship. If you aren't closely connected and experiencing security in other areas of your marriage you will not have fulfilling sex as God designed it to be enjoyed in your marriage.
We will look at communication and listening skills, spiritual intimacy, the importance of non-sexual touch in marriage, we will discover three types of love needed in your marriage, communication destroyers, building honor and respect in marriage, how to fight fair, steps to making room for romance, romancing your spouse, the top intimancy needs in marriage, dating your spouse, and sexual intimacy in marriage. We will also discuss and explore other topics of interest that are brought up throughout the weekend.
Our goal is to help you develop an overall healthy marriage, and then you will experience great sex.
Who attends these weekend retreats?
This weekend is designed for couples who have a good marriage and just want to spend some time together away from other distractions to reconnect and be encouraged in your relationship. It is also very helpful for couples who are currently experiencing some challenges in their relationship. We have couples of all ages attend including newlyweds or those have been married for many years. The material and the format which it is delivered is applicable for all.
